It was a good meeting. I could have scored better than 3+1 but you never know. My problem was with the start - it wasn't because of lack of grip, it was because I found more grip on my bike and I haven't really had that grip level for a long time (about 5 years odd) so therefore I'm not used to controlling the clutch on the start and that's why I didn't get out of the start very well (I think!!!!) because I kept forgetting to use the clutch rather than using the throttle which can kill the engine too much. So therefore I need to do more racing to get my act together on the start to get used to my grip level out of the start and keep in my mind to use the clutch.
At the same time I feel much better on my bike and I feel I can go faster once I've got the setup more right.
I won the Man of the Match award, sponsored by the Swindon Speedway Travel Club, and would like to thank them for this.
