I feel very relieved because I was not very keen on the track but I didn't really have a choice. I had to get points for the Swindon Sprockets and I managed to get 6+1 from 5 rides. I rode a bit better than last time I was there. I changed a lot on the bike setup for the Weymouth track but the main thing was the clutch (I did mention before that I was having problems with it before I joined the Swindon Sprockets). This increased my confidence getting out of the start so therefore I had to try to like the track to get some points.
I had to go out in the first heat because one of our team riders got excluded from the start so therefore I replaced him and I mange to get quite a good start and picked up 3rd place in that heat. In the second heat I managed a good start. I was second and was trying to stay with the leader but then he retired and at the same time the Weymouth team rider knocked off my team mate when I had just got in the lead so the race was stopped. But we had to go out in the re-run anyway and we had to take it steady because we needed the points even though both of the Wildcat riders had been excluded. In the 3rd race I finished 3rd behind my team mate. In the 4th race I made a small error so I came last and in the 5th race I made a better start but I got pushed out but luckily I still managed to finish 3rd after having trouble with my throttle - maybe it was due to my hand getting stiff from the first race where I put my hand in the fence or just my error of not particularly liking the track.
