It was quite a good meeting for me although I was struggling with the grip all night.  In the 1st race, I won with a good start.  In the 2nd race I came 2nd behind my team mate after I went past the away rider as I was coming out of the 4th bend in the 1st lap.  In the 3rd race again I made quite a good start but my team mate got the grip on the outside and went past me but I stayed in 2nd behind him although I couldn't really find much grip.  In the 4th race again I made quite a good start but unfortunately I had real trouble with the grip level and made a mistake going in too wide into the 2nd bend and using the wrong throttle control and just went too wide and the away rider got past me up the inside and sort of pushed me out towards the fence into the 3rd corner which made me drop back to 3rd and I just missed out getting another paid maximum.  In the 5th race I made a really good start but the ref was not happy with it and called a re-run.  But this time I didn't quite make a good start and made a big mistake going into the 3rd bend which let the away rider past me - but after that I just couldn't get grip to fight back.

I was a bit annoyed about the last two rides but I was definitely not happy that the ref thought my start was not satisfactory and I was struggling with the grip but it wasn't too bad a day.  As I was washing my bike when I got home I noticed that the sub-frame (at the rear) had completely snapped and I'm very surprised that the chain didn't come off in any of my rides whenever it happened and that might explain why I was struggling a bit around the corners.
