It was a very tough meeting for me and we were all very disappointed to lose very badly.  I only managed to score 7+1 from 7 rides.  In the first race I could not get out of the start so I only managed to finish 3rd.  In the 2nd race I made a better start but then the race was stopped and I had to go back out in the rerun but I still made a good start then I pick up a little bit too much grip and dropped a little but I managed to keep in tight to pick up 2nd as I was coming out of the 2nd corner with a close battle.  In the 3rd race I made a brilliant start but drifted wide coming out of the 2nd bend and the Rye House rider got inside me so I was in 2nd place.  But I made a huge mistake with my throttle on the final lap going into the 1st bend and I went out too wide as I was coming out of the 2nd bend - which let the other Rye House rider through.  So I only managed to finish 3rd.  In the 4th race I came 3rd behind my team mate but with a very poor start but luckily I came past the Rye House rider into the 4th bend.  In the 5th race I made a small error from the start where I picked up the grip but again I responded to the grip wrong so I came 3rd.  In the 6th race again I made a bad start and only managed to finish 3rd.  In the 7th race I also made a really bad start and came last but was staying with the other riders.

The day provided some good experience for me.  In my second 2 races I had a reasonable start but after that I started to fall away and could not get out of the start properly so I was a bit disappointed with that and also the track was very slick but it's something I have to learn to deal with and all my team mates seemed to struggled on it a bit too.  Also I learned how to get round the corners better towards the end part of the meeting - I just need the confidence to go faster into the corners on the slick surface.
