I did well and scored 10+1 from 5 rides. In the first race I made the start and won the race. In the 2nd race I made a poor start and I was trying to pass the away team rider to pick up 2nd behind my team mate but as I was going into the 3rd bend in the last lap I was going round the outside of him but he went wider and wider and pushed me towards the fence and left me no room and I had to lay my bike down before my footrest went into the air fence. So I didn't finish. In the 3rd race I made a worse start and was having trouble passing the away team rider because I found a slick patch but once I was past him I caught up with the other away team rider who was on double points but unfortunately I ran out of laps to get close enough to him to get past. So I ended up finishing 2nd after a very poor start. In the 4th race again I made quite a good start and picked up 2nd behind my team mate. Then they put me out in heat 14 and wanted me to win to try to get the bonus point and I made a good start and picked up a win with my team mate behind me to give the team only needing to collect a 3-3 in heat 15 to get the bonus point.
So I was pleased with myself. It was just a shame I didn't get another max after two bad starts and having to lay my bike down.
