It may sound like a good day after I scored 11+1 from 7 rides but it was really a disappointing day for me.  I was struggling to get out of the start all night for some reason.  In the first 3 rides I wasn't 100% to myself.  In the first race I came 2nd after a very messy ride and was kind of at the back and made it up to 2nd.  In the 2nd race again it just wasn't me and I was 3rd until I hit s slick patch and got pushed out after the away rider hit the grip and I would have finished last but I got annoyed and retired on the last lap.  In the 3rd race I rode a bit better but still had a bit of trouble getting a good start and came 3rd.  In the 4th race I came 2nd after I again made a poor start but I was 3rd until the last lap, then I managed to pass the away rider as I came out of the 4th bend.  In the 5th race again I didn't have a very good start but I passed my team mate into the 3rd and 4th bends on the first lap - not on purpose it's just that I got pushed slightly and then all of a sudden I picked up grip - but he passed me on the last lap after I struggled a bit and I finished 3rd.  In the 6th race again I didn't make the start very well and was 2nd until the last lap and I picked up first after having tried to pass the away rider for 3 laps.  In the 7th race I made a good start but the referee said it was an unsatisfactory start and we had to go with a re-run and I didn't make quite as good a start coming away in 2nd place but I was struggling with the grip because the track got slick and I fell back slowly but still stayed 2nd.

The day was all down to starting and I was not 100% and struggled with the grip towards the end.  But again I won the Man of the Match Award and would like to thank Patrons Club member Neil Ward.
