It was quite a disappointing day but I came 3rd in the B finial.  In my first race I had a problem with the gearbox on the start line and it went into neutral after I tried to change gear - I thought that the chain had broken.  In the 2nd race I was out with completely the wrong setup because I had no grip at all, so I only managed to come 5th after being 4th to start off.  In the 3rd race I felt better but got a poor start and got held back in 5th place for 2 or 3 laps.  Once I went past the rider in front of me I actually went a lot faster, I was slowly catching up the 3rd place rider but I was a bit of a long way behind so I only managed to finish in 4th place.  I only just made the B final and made quite a good start to stay behind the top 3 or 4 riders but I had to lay the bike down to avoid crashing into another two riders who had slid off because it had got really slick.  After I went back out for the re-run I didn't make the start but luckily I went past several riders coming out of the 2nd bend but I was gradually moving back because of lack of grip and maybe the start of an engine problem because after lap 3 my engine began to seize up but luckily for me someone had come off and the race was stopped before my engine stopped altogether.
