It was a good day for me and not a bad comeback on my own bike, which I hadn't ridden for about 10 months (raced that is - did practice on the 30th March 2003).

The track was very grippy and it was very hard work to race on, and it was also quite dusty.

In my first race I came 4th and had backed off a bit towards the end.  In my second race I came 3rd - I was 4th for three and a half laps and I just passed the other rider before the finish line and picked up 3rd place.

After those two races I had a problem with my clutch which seemed to get very hot - the clutch was slipping a little and I ended up using the clutch off my other bike (350cc) and it seemed to work better for the next race.

In my 3rd race I came 3rd again - which give me 5th place overall going into the A final.

In the final I came 5th and I had a really good race against the 4th place rider.
