It was another very disappointing day for me.  I had to pack up the 350cc because there was a problem with the gearbox during practice.  So I could only do the 500cc.

For my first 3 races I managed good wins and went into the final in first place but something went wrong in the final.  I was leading for over a lap but went into the top corner and I think I hit a rut because I went all over the place and lost control and came off the bike and hit the ground.  I was okay, just a bit bruised and I hurt my right ankle and left shoulder.  So I came home with nothing, missing the Southern Centre Championship titles for the 500cc and 350cc.  The 500cc bike has been quite badly damaged - the front forks are completely wrecked, the handlebars are bent and the throttle cable has been snapped in half - but luckily the frame is okay.
