It was quite a good meeting.  In the first race I came 1st.  In the second race I came 2nd.  In the 3rd race luckily I finish in 1st place as on the last 1 - 2 laps I had a carb problem, it seemed to be the fuel filters pulling the choke out which caused the engine to struggle to pick up when I opened the throttle.

There's not a lot I can say.  In the final I made my best start of the day and was 1st into the first corner (my mistake was probably going in too tight and not opening the throttle early enough - but I always seem to not quite get the inside start to the 1st corner right yet but at least I finally made the start in the final rather than in the 3 heats and not final) then I dropped to 2nd place coming out of the 2nd corner then I drop back to 3rd going into the 3rd corner, but I tried to fight back but it wasn't hard enough.  The track was good but it was very difficult to race.

Again Roger Maynard lent me a BRM frame for this meeting and I used my own engine in it.  I'd like to say a big thanks to Roger.

Let's hope that I will get the start right and the final right soon!!!!!
