Why do I need sponsors?

Well my racing is very expensive especially on bike parts.  Here are examples for the parts that I normally upgrade:

1. Primary Chain - this normally lasts about 3-4 meetings depending on the size of the track and how hard I ride it and it costs £30 to replace
2. Methanol - I use about 5 litres per meeting which can cost up to £6
3. Entering the meeting - costs £22 per solo (Grasstrack only)
4. Fuel to get to the meeting - can cost up to £30-£100 depending where the meeting is
5. Filter spray - costs about £20 for every month or two
6. Oil for the engine - average about £6.50 per engine per meeting
7. Tyres - cost £30 each for Grasstrack tyres which need to be replaced when they are worn out, depending on the track.  Speedway tyres cost £25 each and need to be replaced for each meeting
8. And finally any worn parts - depending what parts cost £30-£100

The list above is what I have to spend but my Mum and Dad help me.  It is very difficult to keep up so I have to thank Mum and Dad for their help.

The next list I find it very hard to find the money for but they are things which mainly need to be done - so here are the examples:

1. Engine rebuild - can cost up to £700 to keep the engine reliable all the time
2. Clutch - can cost up to £500 to replace

The next list is of some things I need which at the moment I can't afford!!!!

1. Spare Jawa 500cc engine
2. Spare Jawa 350cc engine
3. Playing with the engines to make them go faster which involves money

Now can you see why I need sponsors?!  It is because it costs a lot of money to run all this.
